The purpose of this blog is to share with students and their parents what is happening at Lewis and Clark Elementary. July 1st from 5:30PM-7:30PM 2019-20 school year registrations will be open at Liberty, Leeds, Morningside and the BTB Administration office for the following schools. Please register at your schools indicated location below. After July 1st registration will be at the BTB administration office.
Liberty Elementary will have registrations available for students that will be attending: Liberty, Loess Hills, Riverside, Sacred Heart, Hunt
Leeds Elementary will have registrations available for students that will be attending: Leeds, Irving, Bryant, Perry Creek, Clark
Morningside Elementary will have registrations available for students that will be attending: Morningside, Unity, Spalding Park, Nodland, Sunnyside

While at Junior Fire Patrol last night, fifth graders from Lewis and Clark Elementary and other South Sioux City School District schools learned about the dangers of playing with fire, how the 911 system works, and various medical life-saving measures that are taken by the fire and EMT when they are responding to an emergency. The second week of this free six-week hands-on training program for fifth graders was a huge success. Fifth grade students under the direction of Mrs. Merrill & Mr. Kleve held their annual “Great Americans Wax Museum” last week (February 15, 2019) that focused on famous Great Americans in history. This is a culminating activity that the fifth graders work hard on for about a month and a half. These fifth graders not only learned about history, but demonstrated proper research skills, writing skills, art, design, and speaking skills ...to just name a few. We know these young people are inspired by the great Americans they research as well as the ones their fellow classmates research/portray.
