The Story
Students at Mescalero Apache Schools in New Mexico are using robots and drones to learn science and technology skills. They practice coding, engineering, problem-solving, teamwork, and speaking in front of others. Some students travel to competitions and conferences, where they meet other young people who enjoy STEM. Teachers say the program is helping students gain confidence and see new career possibilities. The students are not just building machines. They are learning how to solve problems, work as a team, and use technology to create new ideas.
