WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD.

What we believe about ourselves matters.

Learning.
Leading.
Growing.

I can do hard things!

I am unstoppable!

I matter!

I am smart!

I can change the world!

Own It When You Mess Up

Leadership is tested when your mistake affects other people.

1. Say What Happened

Avoid excuses that erase your part. Try: “I did ________. That affected ________.”

2. Listen to the Impact

You may understand your intention. Leadership also means listening to how the choice affected someone else.

3. Make a Real Repair

  • Apologize specifically.
  • Correct misinformation.
  • Redo your part.
  • Replace or repair what was damaged.
  • Change the behavior that caused the problem.

4. Rebuild Trust Through Action

An apology can start a repair. Consistent choices are what rebuild trust over time.

Try It

You promised your group you would finish something and forgot. What would owning it sound like without blaming your schedule or another person?

💡 Funky Tip

“I’m sorry you got upset” is not the same as owning what you did. Name your action and the repair you will make.

I matter.

Your actions matter enough to own—and you are capable of making things better.

🎒 Take It With You

Name it → listen → repair → change the pattern.
