WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD.

What we believe about ourselves matters.

Learning.
Leading.
Growing.

I can do hard things!

I am unstoppable!

I matter!

I am smart!

I can change the world!

The Change the World Project

This is where the whole Student Toolbox can come together. Notice something that matters, understand it, imagine what could be better, take responsible action, and learn from what actually happens.

The Project Path

NOTICE → LISTEN → IMAGINE → PLAN → ACT → SHARE → REFLECT

NOTICE

What matters to you? What problem, possibility, place, person, group, system, or need keeps pulling your attention?

LISTEN

Learn before acting. Gather evidence. Talk with people connected to the issue. Look for perspectives beyond your own. Ask what is already being done.

IMAGINE

Generate several possibilities. Do not lock into the first idea just because it is yours.

PLAN

Choose a realistic action. Decide what success might look like, who needs to be involved, what permissions or resources are needed, and what your first step will be.

ACT

Carry out the plan responsibly. Pay attention to what actually happens instead of only what you hoped would happen.

SHARE

Communicate what you learned, what you tried, and what happened. Give credit to the people who contributed. Protect private information and represent people fairly.

REFLECT

Do not automatically declare the project a success. Ask:

  • What changed?
  • What did not change?
  • What evidence do we have?
  • Who benefited?
  • Did anything unexpected happen?
  • What did we learn?
  • What should happen next?

  4. People I should listen to: ________
  5. Three possible actions: ________
  6. The action we will test first: ________
  7. What success might look like: ________
  8. How we will know what happened: ________

Use the Toolbox

What Counts as Changing the World?

It can be small and still be real. Helping one person, improving one routine, creating something useful, protecting a place, teaching a skill, making a group stronger, solving a local problem, preserving a story, or helping people understand something better can matter.

💡 Funky Tip

The project is not finished when the activity ends. It is finished when you have looked carefully at what happened and what you learned.

I can change the world.

This affirmation is not a promise that every idea will work. It is a reminder that your choices, voice, knowledge, creativity, service, and actions can create meaningful ripples.

🎒 Take It With You

Notice what matters. Listen before acting. Build with people. Take a responsible step. Learn from the result. Keep going.
