Student Leadership Council at Lewis & Clark Elementary was an important part of our school and community. The goal was to bring students together through leadership, service, and community involvement. The council included 12 fourth- and fifth-grade students and two advisors, including Mr. Funky Teacher.

At Winnebago Public Schools, that same commitment to developing student leaders continues through The BAGO Mic, where the entire class can build confidence, communication, listening, and student voice. The Student Leadership Council worked hard to help make the school and community great places to be.
